Who We Are
Dave:
Dave studied Geography at Durham until 2007. His love of all things
geographical led him to UCL to study the MSc in Geophysical Hazards.
He’s been banging on about cycling across continents for a while now,
so thought this year would be a good time to finally do it!
Interests:
Biking, geography, biking, travel, biking, eating, biking and probably
some more biking on top of that!
Most looking forward to:
The Bolivian Altiplano, The Carretera Austral,
Dreading!!:
Saddle sores, 100 mile an hour winds in Patagonia,

Tom:
Tom also studied Geography at Plymouth until 2007 and is a keen cyclist. He’s currently taking a year out working for PGL in Torquay before heading off to ride South America in November.
Interests:
Mountain Biking (of course), anything outdoors, anything a little bit dangerous, anything edible, and preferably a combination of all these!
Most looking forward to:
Breaking 50mph on a push bike, wine tasting in Mendoza, the amazing sights and experiences, and of course spending months and months with Dave!
Dreading!!:
Spending months and months with Dave!! Having a means of transport slower than average donkey, the climb over South America’s highest pass and spending months in a countries where the staple diet is meat!
